KodaAPI sells prepaid API credits. This policy explains when you can receive a refund for those credits. We aim to be fair and straightforward — if something goes wrong on our end, we'll make it right.
Short version: Unused credits purchased within the last 14 days are eligible for a full refund. Credits that have been partially or fully consumed are not refundable.
You may request a refund if all of the following conditions are met:
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
The following are not eligible for a refund:
If a model outage or platform error on our side caused unexpected credit consumption, contact us — we review these on a case-by-case basis and will credit your account where appropriate.
To initiate a refund, email hello@kodaapi.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
We will respond within 1 business day to confirm eligibility and initiate the refund if approved.
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at hello@kodaapi.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can typically resolve billing issues much faster directly.
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension while the dispute is under review.
